Real Madrid will start from scratch after the painful loss against Paris Saint -Germain

Real Madrid coach Xabi Alonso said that his team will start next season from scratch, after changing his plans with reverse results in defeat 4-0 against Paris Saint-Germain in the FIFA Club World Cup final.
In the absence of the arrested defender, Dean House and the injured, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Alonso, who took over the team a few weeks ago, returned to playing four players in the back line instead of relying on five defenders.
Thanks to this planning change, Gonzalo Garcia, the brilliant tournament, managed to participate essentially alongside star Killian Mbappe, who finally regained his full strength after his absence from most of the tournament due to illness, but this change did not pay its fruits.
Paris Saint -Germain quickly benefited from the defensive weakness of Real, scored two goals in the first nine minutes and things looked under his control.
“We were late with two goals and we were not able to find a foothold,” Alonso said. It was a painful defeat, we must acknowledge that we were not at the required level today. ”
Real did not make any changes between the two halves, and Alonso told reporters that he believed that the team was having some goal opportunities before it was switched in the middle of the second half.
He added, “We had some shortcomings at some points, and sometimes it is good to see our mistakes and you can extract lessons for the future.”
Despite the bitterness of the loss, Alonso assured the fans that the next is better and did not rule out the possibility of contracting with new players.
“We start a new afternoon after rest … We want to build a team that plays as one unit, in which everyone plays together … We were one match (from the final) and the matter is painful and let us see what will happen now.”
