Pioli’s return to Fiorentina, Italy

Coach Stefano Pioli returned to Fiorentina from the Saudi Al -Nasr Club, according to what the opposing club in the Italian Football League announced yesterday.

“Stefano Pioli has been appointed as a new coach for the first team,” Fiorentina said in a statement.

The statement stated: “Piuli, who returns to Florence, was signed after he wore the purple shirt as a player between 1989 and 1995, and after he trained the club from 2017 until 2019, a contract linking him with Fiorentina until June 30, 2028.”

Pioli (59 years) succeeds his compatriot Rafael Paldino, who suddenly resigned in June, just weeks after the extension of his contract until 2027.
