"Judo" Announces the participation of the world champions in Abu Dhabi " Grand Salam"

Abu Dhabi, July 15/ WAM/ The Emirates Judo Federation announced the participation of the international team of the international teams in the Abu Dhabi Championship “Grand Salam” next November, setting a comprehensive plan, and integrated equipment to host the most prominent event on the agenda approved by the International Federation.

The Federation pointed out in a statement today to the possibility of registration through the site, until the beginning of next November, amid expectations with the participation of about 100 countries with the start of registration on the international federation website, and the announcement of 3 countries participating in the next version.

His Excellency Mohammed bin Thaloub Al -Dari, President of the Federation, said that the Supreme Committee of the Championship is keen to make all technical and organizational arrangements, in cooperation with the International Federation, given the great importance of the event, with the participation of the world’s most powerful teams, with the aim of competing for the title, and reaping the qualified points to the 2028 Olympics.

He pointed out that the judicial season witnessed a major shift at the level of local competitions, and the organization of various events in the new federation hall in the Bani Yas region, east, which represents a pivotal addition in the efforts of the Federation and its strategic plans to establish promising generations, which has the ability to global competitiveness, in addition to preparations to participate in the Asian Youth Games in Bahrain next October.

He stated that the Judo team will continue to be prepared to participate in Abu Dhabi “Grand Salam”, according to the scheduled program of technical devices, through external camps, and joint training with the most powerful teams in the world, to raise the readiness of its elements, enable them to compete in the tournament, and win the first places.

He noted the continuation of sustainable cooperation with the Japanese University of Tokai in all development programs, within the joint agreement between them that contributed to the development of Emirati judo and the game at the region level, by hosting our national teams, training and education programs for players and players, and benefiting from the global capabilities of Japan in the game.
