Ajman Chamber discusses with an Indonesian delegation to enhance economic and trade cooperation

Ajman, July 17 / WAM / The Ajman Chamber, with His Excellency Hussein Bagis, discussed the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the state, ways to enhance economic and trade cooperation and investment development, and opportunities for participation in specialized events and exhibitions in both countries.
This came during the meeting held today at the Chamber’s headquarters, in the presence of His Excellency Salem Al -Suwaidi, General Manager of Ajman Chamber, Muhammad Ali Al -Janahi, Executive Director of the member support services sector, Khaled Al -Shamsi, Director of Information and Economic Studies Department, Fatima Yaqoub, Head of the Investment Attraction Department, and by the Indonesian Embassy Steveia Adira Potre, Senior Secretary of Economic Affairs, Aiko Nogroho, Financial Attaché, Wade Harruno, Director of the Indonesian Center for Trade Promotion (ITPC) in Dubai.
Al -Suwaidi stressed that the comprehensive economic partnership agreement signed between the two countries open new horizons for the development of trade and mutual investments and pave the way for businessmen and investors from both countries, in a way that contributes to supporting economic growth and expanding areas of cooperation in sectors of common concern.
He said that the Ajman room is keen to develop its external relations based on the directives of the rational leadership and in order to support the targets of Ajman 2030 vision, aimed at providing a competitive business environment and an investment climate that promotes economic growth and contributes to the development of the foreign trade of the emirate.
The Ajman Chamber of the visiting delegation presented a presentation on the most prominent investment opportunities available in the emirate, and highlighted the “Thara” center for entrepreneurship and its role in providing innovative services and a sustainable business environment that supports business owners and investors, and on the Ajman International Education and Training Exhibition, and invited the Indonesian universities to participate in the next version of the exhibition in a way that enhances the prospects of academic cooperation and expands the fields of scientific and cultural exchanges Between the two sides.
For his part, His Excellency Hussein Bagis, the most prominent ingredients of the Indonesian economy and the promising investment opportunities in his country in the various sectors, reviewed the invitation to the Ajman Chamber and its members from the private sector facilities to participate in the “Commercial Exhibition in Indonesia 2025” in its 40th version and scheduled for 15 to 19 October next.
The meeting stressed the need to intensify cooperation in the field of food and beverages, especially in light of the qualitative ingredients of the two countries, as well as the exchange of information and the organization of bilateral forums in order to provide an umbrella for business owners and investors, supporting the exchange of experiences and partnerships in a way that enhances the volume of trade exchange and prompts the wheel of joint investment.
