"Sharjah Resources" and"Executive Council" They emphasize the importance of unifying efforts to develop national cadres

Sharjah, July 17/ WAM/ A coordination meeting between the Human Resources Department in the Sharjah government and the General Secretariat of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah stressed the importance of uniting efforts between government institutions in the emirate to develop human capital, as it is an essential pillar to enhance the competitiveness of the government sector and achieve the aspirations of the rational leadership in upgrading the government work system.

The meeting was held at the headquarters of the department in the presence of a delegation from the General Secretariat of the Executive Council, chaired by His Excellency Asma Rashid bin Tala’i, Secretary -General, and membership of His Excellency Ahmed Hamad Al -Suwaidi, Assistant Secretary -General and His Excellency Brigadier Dr. Tariq Jassim Al -Midfa, Advisor to the General Secretariat for Governmental Development and Dr. Amna Salem Al -Suwaidi, Head of Studies and Research.

They were received by His Excellency Abdullah Ibrahim Al -Zaabi, Head of the Human Resources Department, His Excellency Majid Hamad Al -Marri, Director of the Department, Abdullah Youssef Al Ali, Director of the Strategic Planning Office and Afaf Muhammad Al -Mazrouqi, a job development expert.

The two parties discussed the opportunities for joint cooperation in designing and implementing training and development programs targeting citizenship cadres, in order to enhance their readiness to meet the requirements of government work, and enhance the culture of quality and innovation in the institutional work environment.

The mechanisms of alignment of training programs were also discussed with the priorities of government agencies and their future needs, and adopted best practices in building national capabilities, in addition to discussing ways to enhance institutional integration to develop a more flexible and efficient government system, capable of keeping pace with accelerating changes.
