The Emirates Chess team participates in the Arab Championship in Morocco

Sharjah, July 19/ WAM/ The Emirates Chess team will participate in the Arab Championship for Sunni groups from 8 to 20 years, scheduled in the city of Casablanca, Morocco, during the period from 20 to 28 July, under the supervision of the Arab Chess Federation.

The Emirates Chess Federation confirmed in a statement today that the team’s mission will leave the country tomorrow, and includes 67 people headed by Tarim Matar, President of the Federation, Abdullah Ali, “Administrative”, and Amna Al -Kindy “Administrative”, along with the players and the participating players.

Al -Ittihad explained that the team’s list of players and players includes a group of Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah, Sharjah and Fujairah clubs, among them the player Ahlam Rashid, the Arab champion for a category under 20 years last year, Muhammad Saeed, Shaqr Khamis, Rashid Al Hammadi, Al -Tawam Ahouh, Anoud Issa, and Zayed Al Ali, the Emirates champion for my category under 8 and 10 years.

Tarim Matar stressed that the team enters the championship with great ambitions, noting that this participation represents an important opportunity to achieve new achievements, in light of the strong competition expected from various Arab teams, in order to enhance their balance of achievements in external posts.
