“Civilization” raises the performance of students 70% in mathematics and languages

The Department of Education and Knowledge in Abu Dhabi confirmed that students enrolled in early education record an improvement of up to 70% in language and mathematics subjects, in addition to improving their social skills, consolidating the national identity among Emirati students at an early age, and enhancing opportunities to learn the Arabic language.

The department implements a questionnaire to measure the impact of nurseries in the development of early childhood, with the aim of improving early education programs, through which six questions were asked, which included the importance of the education period in nursery in the stages of the first child’s development, the main reasons that prompted the father to register his child in the nursery, the main reasons for the decision not to register it, and is it for concerns about the quality of care or the high fees related to that, and the importance of the nurseries in the development of social communication skills for the child, The importance of health, happiness and psychological safety programs for the development of the child in general, and the developments that the nurseries must go through.

She stressed that the early years of the child’s life are considered one of the most important stages that positively affect the brain growth, and the start of acquiring the different cognitive, emotional and social skills, in addition to its impact on his life for life, pointing to the right of each child to obtain an opportunity to develop, and its keenness to commit to improving the quality of early education services.

She stated that the total number of private nurseries in Abu Dhabi is 225 nurseries, which includes 27 thousand and 791 seats, pointing out that nurseries play an important role in advancing the economy by providing job opportunities for Emirati competencies in the field of education, and enabling parents to focus on their career.

According to the new policies related to admission to early education and employment institutions, to which all institutions will be complied with from the next academic year, nurseries will be obligated to fairness, non -discrimination and transparency, so that no child prevents registration except to reach the maximum number of registered children, and early education institutions will have to appoint employees in seven basic jobs, including the manager, the coordinator of the inclusive education, early education teacher and assistant The health official and the cleaning official, in addition to guard staff, with a commitment to employ women only inside the nursery, and provide 25 vocational training hours for employees.

Nursery

The tables of nurseries showed that the average annual fees for the child ranged between 17 thousand and 750 dirhams to 51 thousand and 375 dirhams, according to the type of custody and the equipment available in it.

The department indicated that it adopted an accurate mechanism to evaluate a number of factors before the adoption of fees, to ensure logical and transparent results, including operational costs (such as rent) and employment expenses to maintain the percentage of children, compared to teachers within the required limit, in addition to investing in educational materials and safety procedures.

The department also evaluates the fees based on market directions and the sustainability of services, as these standards guarantee that the nurseries are designed to support their children in a safe and rich growth experience.
