If you are an Emirati student .. Learn the scholarships available in the university scholarship program for “Dubai Roads”

Dubai Roads and Communications Authority announced the opening of the application for the scholarship program for the academic year 2025-2026, which targets citizens of the United Arab Emirates from the registration summary campaign, whether from high school graduates or students who are continuing in university study.

National cadres
The program aims to support and qualify national cadres academically in qualitative specializations related to the future of transportation and smart technologies, in order to enhance the efforts of the authority in anticipating the future and adopting innovative solutions.

Final average
Applicants from high school graduates are required to obtain a final rate of at least 90% or equivalent, while university students who continue to study have achieved a cumulative rate of at least 3.5 from 4.0 until the end of the spring semester of 2025, while giving priority to students in the third and fourth years of university study.

Conditions for enrollment
The conditions for enrolling in the program include that the applicant is fulfilling the admission requirements at the university, decent healthy, good conduct and behavior according to a certificate from the competent authorities, and that his age is not less than 18 years and does not exceed 26 years.

Official exemption
Males are also required to complete the national service or obtain an official exemption, in addition to successfully passing the personal interview. It is necessary to sign the scholarship contract from the student and his guardian, which includes the commitment to maintain a quarterly rate of at least 3.5 throughout the study period, and to join the work in the authority for a period equal to the period of scholarship.

National universities
The program covers the study in a group of the most prominent approved national universities, including: The American University in Sharjah, the American University of Dubai, the British University in Dubai, Berlingham University – Dubai, Sharjah University, Dubai University, Khalifa University, Zayed University, Emirates University, Higher Technology Colleges, and Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University.

Group of specializations
The Authority has identified a set of future specializations covered by scholarships, most notably: Bachelor of Science in Smart Systems and Mechatron Engineering, Mechatronics, Androids, robots, cybersecurity engineering, artificial intelligence, computer science, computer engineering, business administration in the specialization of information systems and business analyzes, computing and information systems, electrical and electronic engineering, electromechanical engineering, and electrical engineering, Civil engineering, engineering and management of digital construction.

The required documents
As for the documents required for submission, they include: personal photos, a copy of the registration summary, the Emirati identity, the passport, the birth certificate, the biography, the certificate of good conduct and behavior (criminal status research), a certificate from the National Service Authority (for the male category), the card of determination for applicants from this category, in addition to the high school certificate certified and the language certificate (EMSAT or IELTS) or the admission letter from the university for secondary school University academic and study continuity certificate for continuous students.
