"Dubai for the care of women and children" Consciousness and life skills are enhanced in summer camps
Dubai, July 23 / WAM / Dubai Women and Children’s Care Corporation continues its efforts to consolidate psychological and social awareness among young people, through its participation in a number of summer camps held during this July, with the participation of about 400 children, in cooperation with governmental and community bodies, in support of the Dubai Social Agency 33.
The participants included “Al -Amin – Ferjan Al -Saifi” camp in the Al -Khawaneej and Al -Barsha regions, in addition to the “Grass Summer” program of the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Work in Maktoum centers for the Holy Quran and its sciences in the Al -Warqa area 1.
The Foundation presented an awareness event under the slogan “kindness makes us stronger”, targeting children from the age of 6 to 15 years, with the aim of enhancing psychological and social awareness, through interactive activities and awareness cards within the childhood protection program, focused on concepts such as: self -confidence, acceptance of the other, managing feelings, and sympathy.
His Excellency Sheikha Saeed Al Mansouri, Acting Director General of the Dubai Women and Children’s Care Foundation, stressed that these posts come within the framework of the Foundation’s keenness to support children in flexible educational environments, which contribute to refining their skills and enhancing their awareness, noting the importance of expanding community partnerships to achieve Dubai’s vision in providing a supportive and comprehensive environment for the child’s growth and welfare.
