In response to one of the interventions, Dr. Ali bin Tamim reviewed the efforts of pioneers such as Dr. Taha Hussein and Mahmoud Shaker in the study of Al -Mutanabbi, indicating that many subsequent studies remained in the same astronomy without renewal, despite the presence of serious attempts to deviate from the ordinary.
The attendees also discussed the multiplicity of poetic levels in the experience of Al -Mutanabbi and the importance of using multiple curricula to read it, including the method of psychoanalysis, as he stressed the need to distinguish between the concepts of the ego and the self when analyzing the poems of Al -Mutanabi.
In an intervention, Dr. Mustafa Ammar pointed out that many researchers fell into the trap of fascination with Al -Mutanabbi’s poetry, which affected the objectivity of their studies, considering that the work of Dr. Ali bin Tamim provides a clear systematic framework that goes beyond this problem and provides a balanced rational approach.
