The UAE is in solidarity with Cyprus and comforted in fire victims

Abu Dhabi, July 25/ WAM/ The UAE expressed its sincere condolences and solidarity with the Republic of Cyprus in the victims of the forest fires that broke out near the city of Limassol, and resulted in a number of deaths and injuries.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed the state’s solidarity with the Cypriot government and the friendly Cypriot people in this painful patient, expressing its sincere condolences to the families of the victims, and its wishes for a speedy recovery for the injured.

The UAE has also expressed appreciation for the efforts made by the Cypriot authorities to contain fires, confirming that they stood by the Republic of Cyprus, leadership and people, in these difficult circumstances.
