Cosmin is preparing “Al -Abyad” with a “artistic trilogy” in Austria

Yesterday, the national football team inaugurated its external camp in Austria, which will continue until the sixth of next August, according to the program announced by the Football Association as part of the team’s preparations for the confrontations of Amman and Qatar on October 11 and 14, within the qualifying attaché to the 2026 World Cup.

The technical staff, led by the Romanian coach, Olario Cosmin, has announced a new list that included 29 players, including five who are called for the first time to wear the “White” shirt.

The selection of the list came after a careful follow -up from the technical staff to perform the players with their clubs, whether at the level of local posts in the league, or through their foreign participation in the AFC Champions League.

Three major technical goals that Kozmin seeks to achieve, are highlighted by this external camp, which is to stand on the technical, physical and mental readiness of the players, enhance harmony and understanding between them, and get to know closely to the new elements of the team.

Cosmin took advantage of the period leading up to the start of the new season to establish the camp, which extends about 13 days, followed by another camp next September, with the aim of reaching the full readiness of the two decisive matches, while planning to play more than one friendly match during the next preparation period.

For his part, the national coach and former international player, Nawaf Mubarak, confirmed that Cosmin chose the most prominent elements capable of leading the team towards a historic qualification to the World Cup, indicating that the opportunity exists strongly, despite the equal chances of all the teams participating in the attachment.

Mubarak told «Emirates Today»: “It is important during the friendly camps and matches that the team work to form a clear and fixed identity, with a focus on creating homogeneity and positive competition between the players. The players must provide everything they have, especially since the opportunity is realistic in light of the continuous support, and the joining of distinguished elements that have recently obtained Emirati citizenship, to enhance the strength of the team.

He added that the options are wider in front of Cosmin, who will choose the best formation through training, noting that the form of the offensive line will be clear during the camp after assessing the levels of players and their readiness, stressing that the performance of the players will be decisive in determining the starting lineup, especially in the first match against Amman.

Mubarak said that the influential elements in the national team have increased, and that the new players in the list showed distinction in the league, pointing out that those who obtained Emirati citizenship will be a strong addition to the team at this decisive stage.

He continued: «The professional elements of the players are supposed to have a positive impact on reducing individual and group errors.

He pointed out that there is a state of optimism that prevails in the Emirati sports street, expressing his hope that the new players will be aspirations, and that they contribute to raising the level of the team.

Mubarak concluded his speech by saying: “We are all optimistic, and we are all behind (white), which represents the state and raises its slogan high.”
