Dubai chocolate available in the country’s markets free of salmonella bacteria

The Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, in cooperation with the local regulatory authorities, confirmed that the Spread Pistachio Cacao Cream with Kadeef for the EMEK brand, which is produced outside the country and is not present in the local markets, is promoted as chocolate inspired by Dubai chocolate flavors.

She explained that the recognized “Dubai Chocolate”, which is available in its various copies in the state markets, is free of pollution in salmonella.

This clarification comes in the light of the statement issued by the American Food and Drug Corporation, in which it made it clear that the product is limited to American markets.

The ministry noted that the warning indicates that the product is marketed as one of the products of “Dubai Chocolate”, stressing that this manufactured product outside the country is inspired by the same known flavors for “Dubai Chocolate”, which is the name that is recognized for Fix Desst Chocolatier products (a sign that started from Dubai and is famous for providing luxury chocolate with distinctive flavors inspired by the eastern cuisine) that is subject to the top Safety and quality standards.

The Ministry affirmed its continuous commitment to monitoring food safety and ensuring the protection of consumer health through continuous coordination with all concerned authorities.
