Khalid bin Hamid Al Qasimi witnesses the Arab Chess Championship competitions in Casablanca

Casablanca, July 25/ WAM/ Sheikh Dr. Khaled bin Humaid Al Qasimi, President of the Arab Chess Federation, witnessed the fourth day of the Arab Chess Championship for age groups from 8 to 18 years for males and females and a category under 20 years organized by the Royal Moroccan Chess Federation under the supervision of the Arab Chess Federation and will continue until July 28, in the city of Casablanca, with the participation of 216 players and players representing a group of promising heroes from 13 Arab country.
The competitions were attended by Tarim Matar Tarim, President of the Emirates Chess Federation, Bushra Al -Qadri, President of the Royal Moroccan Chess University, Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the Championship, Major General Mukhtar Amara, President of the Egyptian Federation, Dr. Maliha Al -Mazmi, Member of the Board of Directors of the Arab Federation, Hussein Khoury, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Chess and Mental Games, and Khalifa Al Mazrouei, member of the Sharjah Chess Chess Club.
Sheikh Dr. Khaled bin Humaid Al Qasimi thanked the Royal Moroccan Chess University for the successful organization, explaining that the tournament brings together the elite of Arab talents who are awaiting an impressive future in leading the Arab chess to the global coronation platforms.
He added that the tournament includes a large number of players in the various Sunni stages, and that there are many technical and administrative gains, whether at the level of players and players or at the level of Arab arbitration and Arab cadres in organizing the championships, stressing the Arab Federation’s keenness to hold championships in various Arab countries until the benefit prevails.
The sixth round of the competitions resulted in the retaining of the Palestinian Majid Al -Tal with the top of the under 20 years of competition for males with 5 points, followed by the Egyptian Hamid Wafa and the Libyan Youssef Al -Smadi, and each of them is 4.5 points.
The lead was changed in the under -18 category for males after the Egyptian David George Samir and Jordanian Anas Khweiri shared the first place with 5 points, and after them, a half points of Tunisian Fares Boumezaya and the Emirati Yahya Shuaib Al -Kaf came after them.
In the same category for females, Jordanian rabbi topped the first place with 5 points, followed in second place in the second place, Jana Mohamed Zaki, with 4.5 points, and the third Tunisian Maryam Bin Amorbres, 4 points.
The Egyptian Farid Tamer Wajih approached the title of the U -16 category for children after he scored the full mark in 6 rounds, achieving 6 points, followed by the Palestinian Mohammed Sidr and the Emirati Rashid Abu Bakr, and each of them has 4.5 points.
In the same category for females, Jordanian Joud Ahmed and the Emirati, Anoud Issa, shared the first place, and each of them has 5 points, followed by Moroccan Khadija Al -Mutairi, Qatari Rawdat Al -Qasabi and Tunisian Bia Abdel Kafi with 3.5 points.
The Egyptian Iyad Al -Husseini maintained the top of the under -14 category for children with 6 points, while Emirati Rashid Hussein Al Hammadi came second with 5 points, while Tunisian Ahmed Abu Salha came in third place with 4 points.
In the same category for females, 3 players are in first place with 4.5 points, they are Emirati Anoud Issa, Jordanian, Hilal, and Egyptian Raghad Aladdin.
Al -Masry Abdel -Rahman Sameh maintained the top of the under -12 category with 5 points, followed by the Tunisian second place, Thabet Benzarti, equal to his compatriot Youssef Abdel Razzaq with 4.5 points.
While the Egyptian intelligence, Ahmed Mohamed, approached the title of the same category for the female, after the summit topped with 6 points, two points behind Tunisian Yara Abdullah and the Palestinian Randa Sidr.
Tunisian Jihad Mandili advanced to the top of the under -10 category to children with 5.5 points, followed by the Qatari Khaled Al -Gomaa, with 5 points, and the Egyptian Youssef Dowidar with 4 points.
In the same category for the females, the Egyptian Geda Mohamed Ahmed topped the summit with 6 points, followed by Tunisian Lina Hadk with 5 points, then her citizen Yasmine Demasi with 4 points equal with Emirati Hafsa Issa, Qatari Asma Al Hammadi and the Emirati Maryam Khaled Al Nuaimi and Tunisian Heba Madimaj.
