"Fujairah businesswomen" Consolidates women’s economic presence

Fujairah, June 12 / WAM / The Fujairah Businesswomen’s Council plays major roles in activating the role of women and enhancing their presence in the local economy of the emirate, by creating a supportive environment for launching and developing projects.

The Council is the institutional umbrella umbrella for businesswomen in Fujairah, with a network of members reaching more than 198 registered members. It provides them with platforms for communication and exchange of experiences, as well as linking them to investment opportunities and regional and international markets.

Her Excellency Aisha Al-Jassem, President of the Fujairah Businesswomen Council, said that the Council pays great attention to the young generation of women, believing that they are the pillar of the future national economy, as it is keen to communicate and coordinate with educational institutions and universities to introduce female students to the concepts of entrepreneurship and transform them into real projects on the ground.

She pointed to the counseling and guidance programs provided by the Council with the aim of connecting young women aspiring to entrepreneurship with experienced businesswomen, which provides them with a safe environment to test their ideas and develop their business plans, and enables them to embark on the practical future with confidence and clarity.

She added that the Council signed more than 10 partnerships and cooperation agreements with various regional and international bodies, with the aim of enhancing trade and investment exchange, and opening new markets for the products and services of women entrepreneurs in Arab, African and European countries, in addition to launching social and economic initiatives that support small and medium enterprises, and developing joint marketing strategies that contribute to consolidating the presence of businesswomen in Fujairah on the international scene.

Since its establishment, the Council has launched several initiatives to highlight and highlight female models of success, most notably organizing events and forums that allow female entrepreneurs to share their experiences and inspire future generations. It has also worked to document success stories and circulate them through its various channels, including the Council’s participation in the Women’s Business Councils Forum in the Emirates.

The Council provides communication platforms and professional networks that connect its members to job and investment opportunities, and is keen to organize economic and social events and forums that constitute a fertile environment for exchanging ideas and experiences.

The Council is also keen to build bridges of cooperation with private sector institutions and government agencies to ensure that its members have access to the necessary resources and facilities, in addition to enhancing awareness of the importance of licensing and establishing projects in accordance with legal frameworks.

During the next phase, the Council looks forward to achieving a number of ambitious goals, most notably expanding the membership base, in terms of the number of members and areas of work, and activating more strategic partnerships with national, regional, and international institutions.

The Council seeks to launch specific empowerment programs directed at women in future sectors, and to enhance its presence in major economic forums.
