Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud – may God protect him – the next version of the Saudi Media Forum will be launched during the period from 2 to 4 February 2026 AD in the capital, Riyadh, with the participation of more than 250 local, regional and international companies, in the presence of a wide presence of media decision makers and technical and innovative companies.
The forum embodies the Kingdom’s advanced position as an international platform to foresee the future of the media and digital transformation, in light of the distinguished successes in the previous versions, and the targets of the Kingdom’s 2030 vision aimed at promoting the knowledge economy, supporting the content industry, and enabling a competitive and innovative media sector.

His Excellency the Minister of Information, Mr. Salman bin Youssef Al -Dossary, thanked and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Prime Minister – may God protect them – for their great and continuous support for the national media sector, usually generous care as a qualitative incentive to enhance the performance of the media sector and expand its impact; In order to achieve the targets of Vision 2030.

His Excellency stressed that the Saudi Media Forum was established from Riyadh as a starting point for new visions that reshape the future of the media in the region led by Saudi leadership and high international participation, and it has become an impressive platform that reflects the Kingdom’s stories and values in front of the world with all professionalism and competence, and enhances its presence in the regional and international media scene; It reflects its growing position and impact, as well as the Forum’s adoption of modern technologies such as: artificial intelligence and extended reality, and supporting the construction of organizational and operational environments enabled for a more influential and innovative media sector.

Global space to exchange experiences

The Minister of Information indicated that the next version of the forum will constitute a global space for dialogue and exchange of experiences in the media sector from different countries of the world, to discuss the major transformations witnessed by the contemporary media, noting that “the media in a world that is formed” reflects the deep changes in this field, where modern technologies meet with the content industry; This imposes new challenges and opportunities on media professionals and media institutions, and requires the development of innovative strategies that keep pace with this stage and ensure the enhancement and sustainability of the media.

Specialized sessions and workshops

For his part, the head of the Saudi Media Forum, CEO of the Radio and Television Authority, Muhammad bin Fahd Al -Harthi, stated that the forum will focus on exploring the capabilities offered by artificial intelligence techniques and the extended reality, and highlighting the applications of obstetric intelligence in content production; In line with the rapid transformations globally, and upgrade the quality of the national media.
He explained that the forum will witness more than 100 specialized sessions and workshop, in addition to an area for innovation that includes the latest technical solutions in the areas of broadcasting, production and distribution, and it is planned to sign international agreements that support Saudi talents, and open new horizons for international cooperation. The Saudi Media Forum continues to attend as a global annual station to exchange knowledge and develop national capabilities, and contribute to building a leading media industry that embodies the Kingdom’s ambitions in making a more influential and sustainable media future.
