Because she refused forced marriage … finding Tiktuker killed

In a new crime that highlights the escalation of violence against women in Pakistan, the Pakistani Tek Tok’s influential body was found in her home in the Gotki area of Sindh, amid criminal suspicions after she rejected an offer for forced marriage.

According to the Indian newspaper Mint, the 15 -year -old victim’s daughter, claimed that her mother was poisoned using tablets after she refused to hold a wedding that was arranged without her consent. Two personalities are currently under investigation and detention against the background of the case, while the local police have not yet issued the initial information report (FIR) and has not revealed more loyal details about the suspects.

The police confirmed that they have begun investigations to determine the circumstances of the death, while the criminal hypothesis is still being scrutinized, in light of an official silence that raises concern among human rights organizations.

Somira, who had more than 58,000 followers and more than a million likes on the “Tech Talk” platform, joins a growing list of young influences whose life ended in a tragic way in Pakistan, as a result of social pressures and refused to submit to forced norms.

Her death comes just weeks after the 17 -year -old murder of Sana Youssef, who was shot in her home in Islamabad, in suspected a “honor crime” after filming a birthday party in the Western style.
