337 % growth in the new licenses of the Ajman Free Zones Authority during the first half

Ajman on July 29/ WAM/ The Ajman Free Zones Authority announced the achievement of exceptional results during the first half of the year 2025, where it recorded 14% growth in operational profits, along with a record leap of 337% in the number of new registered licenses, compared to the same period of 2024.
The occupancy rates in the assets of the authority also exceeded 97%, which reflects the growing confidence in the investment environment provided by the authority, and the advanced position of the Emirate of Ajman as a leading investment destination in the region.
Sheikh Ahmed bin Humaid Al -Nuaimi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Free Zones Authority in Ajman, stressed that these positive results reflect the forward -looking vision of the wise leadership, and the efforts of the continuous body to consolidate a competitive and attractive business environment for investors.
He said that this accelerated growth reflects the authority’s continuous commitment to developing a flexible and smart services system that supports the aspirations of investors, and enhances Ajman’s position as a diversified economic center and a catalyst for sustainable growth.
For his part, Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al -Nuaimi, Vice -Chairman of the Board of Directors, affirmed that the authority continues to adopt innovative solutions to facilitate the investor experience.
He pointed to the authority’s keenness to provide an integrated investment experience, supported by advanced digital infrastructure and facilitated services, which contribute to attracting an increasing number of companies with added value looking for expansion opportunities in the Emirati and regional markets.
For his part, His Excellency Ismail Naqi, Director General of the Authority, pointed out that the results of the first half of 2025 reflect the increasing confidence in the business environment provided by the authority, and the competitive capabilities it provides to investors from various sectors.
He added that the authority continues to implement development projects aimed at diversifying services and expanding the targeted sectors, by providing a flexible and integrated system that meets the aspirations of the business community, in order to enhance the status of Ajman, a dynamic economic destination at the region level, stressing the commitment of the authority to enhance the partnership between the public and private sectors, and work according to Ajman’s Vision 2030.
