The Khalifa Educational Prize launches its 19th session and begins accepting the requests of the candidates

Abu Dhabi, July 29/ WAM/ The General Secretariat of the Khalifa Educational Award, one of the institutions of the Zayed Human Human Foundation, announced today the launch of the activities of its nineteenth session 2025-2026, and includes 10 areas distributed in 17 categories at local, Arab and international levels, and the requests of candidates begin through the website from today to December 31, 2025.

His Excellency Hamid Al -Huti, Secretary -General of the Khalifa Educational Prize, praised the sponsorship of the leadership of the wise state of the national development process, and the keenness that the Emirati education sector leads international competitiveness indicators of distinction, creativity and innovation through the environments it provides to learn to keep pace with the times, look forward to the future, refine the student personality, and establish the national identity, enhance the values of belonging and loyalty to the country and its wise leadership of students in various stages Study.

He also praised the support of His Highness Sheikh Dhiab bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the Presidency for Development Affairs and Families of Martyrs, Chairman of the International Humanitarian Affairs Council, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zayed Humanitarian Foundation, for the award march and His Highness was keen to translate the award in its mission and goals locally, region and internationally the directives of our rational leadership regarding investment in man as an investment in the future.

He stressed the importance of this course, which comes in conjunction with a number of distinguished national initiatives in the education sector in its various school stages, especially with regard to the launch of national initiatives for artificial intelligence, and the employment of its tools in various developmental fields, foremost of which is the education sector, explaining that artificial intelligence is considered one of the basic indicators adopted by the award in assessing the work of candidates and the preference among them.

He pointed out that the nineteenth session of the award will double the role of artificial intelligence in supporting the excellence of the files of the candidates and issuing them for the lists of the winners in this session and other upcoming courses, where the offered criteria focused on the need for the candidate to be available in the file of artificial intelligence tools and explaining the positive impact achieved by the candidate through the application of advanced educational technologies that contributed to improving the quality of the educational process, and related to it Educational outputs in the forefront of which is the student, who is the focus of the educational process.

On the fields presented in the 19th session, Hamid Al -Huti said that the award was presented in this course. He added that it also presented the field of higher education (the distinguished university professor category), the field of educational research (educational research category), the field of educational authorship of the child (the category of educational creations, the category of children’s literature studies), the field of projects and educational programs (individuals category, the institutions category, and the student category), in addition to launching the fourth session of the Khalifa International Prize for Early Education and includes: Research category Studies, the category of programs, curricula, methodologies and teaching methods.

He explained that the field of the Khalifa International Prize for Early Education and presented worldwide aims to enhance the process of promoting early childhood, highlighting the most prominent scientific and practical practices under the auspices of this category, and providing the environment that motivates it to grow, creativity and excellence, as this field presents two categories: research and studies, programs, curricula, methodologies and teaching methods.

He explained that the current session includes a time plan that begins with receiving the requests of the candidates from today, July 29 to December 31, 2025, then the initial screening process begins, then the process of arbitration and evaluation of business begins in addition to field visits to evaluate the candidate business, and the General Secretariat announces the names of the winners in April 2026 and the honor is in May 2026.

He explained that the award developed its website according to the best applied practices that aim to shorten time and effort, and to facilitate the candidate’s journey in effective communication with the award and provide the candidacy file through the site and receive support from the technical team in the award until the announcement of the names of the winners.

He stressed that the award developed the stages of work, starting with receiving the requests of the candidates until the announcement of the winners’ names in addition to enhancing the effectiveness of the arbitration committees in various fields and groups, noting that these committees include academic, educational and societal competencies and cover the various fields and groups offered in the current session, and that all committees practice their work electronically and in a framework that translates the award message and its goals from spreading a culture of excellence in the educational field, And consolidating the values of excellence in the various stages of performance in the educational process.

Hamid Al -Huti said that the Khalifa Educational Prize succeeded since the start of its career in the year 2007 in expanding the awareness base of the importance and role of excellence as a basic pillar of the development of education, and improving its quality and outputs, calling on various elements of the educational and academic field and the relevant societal authorities to run for the current session.
