Paraguay gives the UAE ambassador, the National Merit Medal of the Great Cross, in appreciation of its role in consolidating bilateral relations

Abu Dhabi, July 29 / WAM / His Excellency Santiago Benia, President of the Republic of Paraguay, was awarded the National Merit Medal with the degree of the greatest cross of His Excellency Saeed Abdullah Al -Qamzi, the UAE ambassador to the Republic of Argentina and the former unclean ambassador to the Paraguay, on the occasion of the end of his diplomatic period, and in appreciation of his contributions to strengthening relations between the two countries.
His Excellency Caroline Conthr Lopez, Ambassador of the Paraguay Republic to the United Arab Emirates, met the medal for his happiness on behalf of his Excellency, during a ceremony held at the headquarters of the Paraguay Embassy in Abu Dhabi, in the presence of His Excellency Saif Abdullah Al Shamsi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Protocol Affairs, and His Excellency the Small Doctor and Bran Al -Ahbabi, Director of the American Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, along with a number of ambassadors and members of the diplomatic corps accredited to the state.
His Excellency Lopez praised the efforts of His Excellency Al -Qamzi and his contributions to consolidating the bonds of cooperation and friendship between the two countries in various fields.
For his part, His Excellency Al -Qamzi expressed his deep appreciation for this honor, stressing that the medal embodies the strength of historical and strategic relations between the UAE and Paraguay, in light of the support and care of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State “may God protect him” and His Excellency President Benia and his government for these relations and keenness to consolidate them.
