The sealing observatory monitors the “cat’s claw” from the Abu Dhabi desert

The astronomical sealing observatory, located in the Abu Dhabi desert, succeeded in taking a rare and clear picture of the “cat’s claw -” Cat’s Paw NebulaAfter a filming process that spanned about 10 hours.
This nebula, consisting of gas and cosmic dust, is one of the most prominent nodes of the large emission and constitutes an active environment for the birth of stars, and is located within the star “Scorpio” group.
The light that reached the telescope was launched from this nebula 4370 years ago, and it appears in the sky with a slightly larger size than the full moon, while its true size is estimated by the light that needs to be 320 years to cut it from one end to the other side, knowing that the speed of light is 300 thousand kilometers per second.
In the picture, Al -Sadim is shown in two main colors: red, which indicates the presence of hydrogen gas and blue that indicates the presence of oxygen gas, and it was called the “cat’s claw” because of its shape that resembles the foot of the cat.
The depiction of this nebula from Abu Dhabi is an astronomical challenge due to its relative decrease from the horizon, as it does not exceed 30 degrees, which increases the effect of optical pollution and the dispersion of light through the atmosphere.
