المملكة: An exceptional year .. The quality of life program achieves qualitative achievements in 6 sectors

The Kingdom offers a year after year an inspiring model in converting visions into reality, and the report of the Life Quality Program for 2024 – one of the programs to achieve the Kingdom’s 2030 vision – reveals qualitative achievements in six pivotal sectors that contributed to improving lifestyles, enhancing the urban scene, expanding cultural, recreational and sports options, and empowering societies.
The issuance of the annual report entitled “A high life for every human being” came to provide a comprehensive analytical reading of a number of concrete transformations at the economic, social and cultural levels, and to present the development achieved in terms of the program’s initiatives and the indicators of its 42 performance, as 7 indicators achieved a full completion rate (100%), and exceeded 23 indicators of its planned targeted, while the remaining indicators constituted promising opportunities For future improvement and development.

The Kingdom’s vision 2030

Commenting on the results of the report, the CEO of the Quality of Life Program, Khaled bin Abdullah Al -Bakr, stressed that the human being is the focus and goal of the program, noting that the report translates the program’s commitment to achieving the tangible impact on people’s lives, through projects and initiatives that exceeded the stage of establishment towards empowerment and sustainability.
He stressed that the Kingdom’s 2030 vision continues to build on what was achieved in an integrated spirit, and it goes around 2030 with confidence, to become the cities of the Kingdom more attractive to life, more ready for investment opportunities, and more embracing talents, hobbies and aspirations.

City development

He explained that the program works in partnership with the executive bodies towards achieving the targets of the Kingdom’s 2030 vision, including the development of cities, stimulating investments and developing cultural, recreational and sports options.
In the report, the culture sector recorded the organization (3327) event, and the employment of more than (234) thousand people in cultural industries, while the Kingdom in the tourism sector turned into a global destination that attracted more than (115.9) million tourists, with a contribution to the GDP of (4.4%), besides, the urban design sector witnessed remarkable achievements, as (149) new garden created in the neighborhoods Residential, residents’ satisfaction with municipal services rose to (81%), while the entertainment sector continued its growth by opening (739) new sites and carrying out (40) unique global event.

Practice physical activity

On the sporting level, the percentage of physical activity for adults has increased to (58.5%), and (1100) sports talents were discovered, while the hobbies sector, witnessed the establishment of (1832) amateur clubs, which establishes the status of hobbies an essential pillar in the quality of life quality, and all of this is crowned with the achievements of the security sector, including reaching the level of confidence in security services (99.58%), what It reflects the confidence of society in the efficiency of performance and the speed of response, as this high level is related to the expansion of the use of modern technologies and the development of infrastructure in various regions.
Economically, the program contributed to raising the contribution of the sectors covered to (74.5) billion riyals in the GDP, achieving an achievement rate of (102%) of the target, and non -oil revenues amounted to (17.8) billion riyals, increasing the convergence of weakness from the target, while the non -governmental investment reached (21.6) billion riyals, achieving the entire goal.

Job opportunities

In terms of job opportunities, the program provided (368.9) thousand new jobs, with an achievement rate of approximately (93%). The report reflects the program’s readiness for the next stage of the Kingdom’s 2030 vision, by focusing on achieving more integration with the executive bodies, expanding the base of the beneficiaries, and stimulating the private sector.
