The head of state values Britain’s intention to recognize the Palestinian state

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, received a phone call from the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Kiir Starmer, during which he discussed the developments taking place in the Middle East region and the efforts made on addressing the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip, and affirmed the two countries’ keenness to support all efforts and efforts aimed at establishing regional security and stability.

The two sides stressed the importance of pushing in a steady pace towards the path of permanent, fair and comprehensive peace that is based on a “two -state solution”, as it is the way to achieve stability in the region, and to build a better future for all its countries and peoples.

His Highness the President of the State affirmed the priority of reaching an urgent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, and continuing the flow of relief humanitarian aid in sufficient quantities to the Strip and without obstacles to alleviate the suffering of its residents.

During the call, His Highness appreciated the statements of the British Prime Minister about Britain’s intention to recognize the Palestinian state.
