Ras Al Khaimah Police launches the air support platform system "Drones " To manage events

Ras Al -Khaimah, July 31 / WAM / The General Command of Ras Al Khaimah Police announced the creation of the air support platform system as an integrated platform for directing aircraft without a pilot (Drones), with the aim of raising the efficiency of response speed, improving mechanisms for dealing with field events, and directing them immediately and directly from the central operating rooms.
This system comes within the framework of the continuous pursuit of Ras Al Khaimah Police to enhance its field readiness and employ the latest technologies to support police work.
Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al -Nuaimi, Commander -in -Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, stressed that this step comes within the strategy of the Ministry of Interior aimed at employing modern technologies and artificial intelligence in supporting the system of security and societal stability, noting that the new system will contribute to enhancing the field vision, and transferring the living image from the event site to the operating rooms, which enables the emergency teams to make accurate and rapid decisions that support the maximum response Especially in cases of major accidents, traffic jams, natural disasters, and dealing with crises.
For his part, Colonel Dr. Abdullah Ahmed Al -Nuaimi, Director of Operations Department, explained that the air support platform system is designed to integrate with the driving and control system, where the aircraft can be operated without a pilgrim from a distance by the operations room, and direct them to the sites Responding to emergency security events through a sophisticated feature of rapid communication with emergency teams that allow the transfer of the event information automatically. He stressed that the introduction of this system reflects the vision of the Ras Al Khaimah Police in the proactive of the speed of response, innovation, and the advancement of emergency services towards more intelligent and effective levels, noting that the next stage will witness the expansion of the use of smart aircraft to include multiple areas such as monitoring events, patrol support, and follow -up of field reports.
