The activities of the initiative will be organized in nine of the most prominent commercial centers in Dubai, namely: Dubai Mall, Dubai Hills Mall, Mall of the Emirates, City Center Deira, City Center Mirdif, Dubai Marina Mall, and the spring market, Dubai Festival City, and Petsfal Plaza, where safe internal paths are allocated and fully equipped for walking and running, with a total distance exceeding 10 kilometers during the period, during the period, during the period. In this context, the Ministry of Defense affirmed that its support for the “Dubai Moghon” initiative starts from its firm commitment to supporting national initiatives that enhance public health and quality of life in society.

She said that the ministry adopts an integrated approach to building a strong and coherent society, and attaches great attention to spreading awareness of the importance of physical activity as a healthy lifestyle that reflects positively on all groups of society and our participation in this initiative comes in line with the vision of the rational leadership aimed at making sport an inherent part of the daily societal culture.
His Excellency Saeed Hareb, Secretary -General of the Dubai Sports Council said that this initiative confirms the keenness of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum on the health and vitality of community members, and stresses the importance of physical activity as a daily lifestyle, and that Dubai is the favorite destination for sports by providing the opportunity and the ideal environment for exercise and physical activity throughout the year in open and closed places, and creating events that make all Dubai areas to host Sports events and physical activity, including large and modern shopping centers with international specifications.
He added that this initiative is not satisfied with providing unique paths in the finest shopping centers for the practice of running and walking sports, but also stimulates the participants to take this experience and enjoy health and activity, as well as obtaining valuable gifts and prizes, as well as special activities to support senior citizens because exercising sports and physical activity is a right for all, and our rational leadership is keen that our community members enjoy health And active, enabling them to exercise their natural role in society.
Dubai Moghon will be held under the official sponsorship of the Ministry of Defense, and in partnership with the Dubai Sports Council, and it also enjoys widespread support from government and private agencies.

Dubai Moghon activities also include free medical examinations and health consultations, as well as balanced food offers in line with the initiative’s goals, provided by a group of restaurants, cafes and shops.
Dubai Moghon includes a sub -initiative that targets senior citizens and residents under the slogan “We walk for better health”, organized by the Community Development Authority in Dubai in cooperation with the participating commercial centers, and aims to encourage senior citizens and residents to exercise physical activity within a safe and stimulating environment, taking into account their needs and emphasizing their position as active and influential individuals in society.
