The National Meteorological Center affirmed that most of the Kingdom’s regions are continuing with a large -scale thunderstorm, including the precipitation of varying rains, extending from Friday until next Tuesday, indicating the entry of the eastern region within the scope of influence, especially the provinces of many and Al -Ahsa in the Empty Quarter desert, where it is expected to witness light rains during the day and tomorrow on Saturday.

The expansion of the rain

The center explained in its Al -Arathi report that the rainy situation continues over a period of five days, with the expansion of its geographical area to include the southern, western and central regions, while monitoring opportunities for light to medium rains, which reach in some sites very heavy, which may lead to the flow of torrents and the rise in the water level, especially in mountainous sites, slopes and valleys.

Rains in Najran and Jizan

The center indicated that the Najran region will witness during the period from 1 to 3 August, moderate to heavy rains in the governorates of Habona, Badr al -South and Aar, while the city of Najran and Sharurah Governorate will be registered with light to moderate rains during the same period.
He pointed out that the Jazan region will be remarkably affected, as it is expected that the governorates of Al -Raith, the escape, the circle, Viva, the crossbar, and the plowing will witness heavy rains that continue until August 5, with intensification in the abundance of Friday and Saturday. It also includes medium rains to heavy, a number of coastal and internal cities such as Jizan, Samtah, one of the theaters, Abu Arish, Sepa, Bish, Al -Darb and Al -Talawal, while knights are registered light to medium during the same period.

Heavy to medium rains in Asir and Al -Baha

The report indicated that the Asir region will witness an active air condition, as heavy rains are expected to fall on the governorates of Abha, Khamis Mushayt, one of Rafidah, Sarat Ubaidah, Al -Harjah, Dhahran Al -South, Tarib, Al -Namas, Tanumah, and Blqarn from 1 to 5 August and its abundance is intensified on Friday and Saturday. It is also expected that Blasmar, Mahayil Asir, men and Al -Majdida will witness moderate to heavy rains from Friday to Sunday, corresponding to August 3, and light to medium rains extend to include Al Barak Governorate throughout the same period.
In the Al -Baha region, the center explained that all of its governorates, including Al -Baha, Baljurashi, Al -Mandaq, Qalwa, Bani Hassan, Al -Qura, Al -Makhwah, Al -Hijr, Ghamid Al -Zanad, and Al -Aqiq, will be affected by moderate to heavy duties from 1 to 5 August and it intensifies today, Friday and tomorrow, Saturday.

Makkah and Medina regions

He also indicated that the Makkah Al -Mukarramah region will be within the scope of the situation, where moderate to heavy rains are expected in the provinces of Taif, Maysan, Aham, and Al -Hosat throughout the same period. While the governorates of Al -Moya, soil, al -Khurma, Rania, Al -Laith, and Al -Qunfudhah are light to medium rains. The Holy Capital and the governorates of Al -Jumum and Bahra are registered with light to moderate rains during the period from Saturday to Monday, from 2 to 4 August.
The report noted that Al -Madinah Al -Munawwarah region will witness light to medium rains in the governorates of the cradle, Wadi al -Baraa, Al -Ais, and Al -Hanakiyah from Saturday to Tuesday from 3 to 5 August
In the eastern region, the center confirmed the entry of the provinces of Al -Aqdid and Al -Ahsa in the Empty Quarter Desert within the scope of the situation, pointing to expectations of light rains today, Friday and tomorrow, Saturday.

The atmosphere in Riyadh

With regard to the Riyadh region, the report clarified that the provinces of Al -Sulayl and Wadi Al -Dawasir will witness light rains on Friday and Saturday, while the situation extends to Afif, Dawadmi and Al -Quwaiya on Saturday and Sunday, and light rains include the provinces of Hotat Bani Tamim and Al -Aflaj on Saturday.
The National Meteorological Center noted that the current indicators confirm the continuation of the rainy situation until the end of next week, stressing that it will issue proactive reports updated according to the developments of the weather situation, calling on everyone to follow its bulletins through official channels, be careful, and avoid crossing valleys and water gathering sites, in order to ensure public safety.
