Shenaz Belaid, who holds the title of Miss Arab Tourism, represented by Algeria, married Lebanese businessman Claude Tabar in a luxurious atmosphere in Beirut.
Shanaz, wearing a white wedding dress appeared in a ceremonial ceremony with traditional Christian rituals, which sparked controversy through social media and widespread questions about her religion, and led some to question her continuing the religion of Islam, asking whether this marriage means giving up her previous beliefs.
However, Belaid went out of her silence through brief publications on her official accounts, stressing that she is still a Muslim, and that her marriage does not change her religious faith, as she called for respecting her privacy, calling for not to launch prejudices and interference in her personal life.
Shanaz is one of the most prominent young women’s names in Algeria, where she previously won the title of Miss Arab Tourism, and has wide popularity on social media platforms, especially Instagram, where more than 1.2 million people followed by it, and Belaid is known for its diverse content that combines fashion, beauty, and lifestyle.
