The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority has identified the Dubai Metro violations, in which some users may fall, as they divided them into 5 categories: tariffs, behaviors of use, lack of commitment, public health, safety and security.
With regard to the tariff, 6 violations were set with a fine of 200 dirhams, namely:
Using public transportation and services and services, or entry / exit from the areas subject to payment, without paying the applied tariff.
Not highlighting the unified card upon request.
Use a customized card for the non -user.
Use an expired card.
Use an invalid card.
Selling Nol cards without obtaining prior permission from the competent destination.
While set a fine of 500 dirhams as a penalty to use a forged card.
As for the behavior of use, a fine of 100 dirhams was set for violations:
It causes inconvenience or disturbances in any way for users of public transportation means, facilities and services.
Entry or sit in areas designated for certain groups.
Eating and drinking in areas where this is not allowed.
While the penalty for sleeping in the platforms in which the passengers are expected or in places where sleep is prohibited at 300 dirhams. Whereas, in the event of damage, sabotage or destruction of equipment or seats in public transportation means, facilities and services, the fine was sentenced to 2000 dirhams. Finally, the violation of stopping cars in areas designated for metro users for a period that exceeds the permissible period, and begins with a fine of 100 dirhams per day and up to 1000 dirhams.
As for the non -commitment category, the Roads and Transport Authority confirmed that there are 3 violations whose value is 100 dirhams:
Entry to banned areas within public transportation means, facilities and services, unlike warning signs and signs.
Standing or sitting in areas not designated for passengers within public transportation means, facilities and services.
Put the feet on the seats.
It also set a fine of 200 dirhams if the following violations were committed:
Selling or promoting goods and goods by any means that were within public transportation means and facilities.
Failure to adhere to the instructions of the inspector or officials officially assigned by the competent authorities or obstruct their duties.
Using public transportation means, facilities and services, unlike the instructions of the aforementioned authorities on advertising panels.
As for public health, the commission approved a fine of 100 dirhams in the event of the introduction of animals into public transportation means, facilities and services, except for dogs accompanying people with determination, and a fine of 200 dirhams in the event of spitting, dumping garbage, or any work that would harm the cleanliness of public transportation means, facilities and services. In addition to smoking within public transportation means, facilities and services.
She stated that with regard to the safety and security standard, there are 4 violations of 100 dirhams, and they are:
Poor use of elevators and moving stairs.
Ride public transport facilities and services by jumping or climbing.
Opening the doors or trying to enter or get out of public transport as they walk between the stations and the places of stopping.
Carrying or using materials or equipment that causes inconvenience to public transportation users, facilities and services, or may pose a threat to the safety of passengers.
The commission set a fine of 200 dirhams to violate any confusion or disability for the driver of public transportation and services during his work. And a fine of 500 dirhams to carry spiritual drinks inside public transportation, and 1,000 dirhams to carry dangerous materials, including weapons, sharp tools or flammable materials to public transport means, facilities and services. Finally, 2000 dirhams in the event that any safety and security tool is used, including the use of emergency exits when it is not needed.
