The chairs basket team qualifies for the Final World Cup Final in South Africa

The national basketball team continued on the wheelchairs (3×3), its distinguished consultations in the World Championship in South Africa, by qualifying for the quarter -finals without the need for the 16th round matches, after “Al -Abyad” succeeded yesterday, to take the lead of the teams of his group with three of his four matches in the group.

The national team competed in the tournament held until next Monday, in the first group, to play on the opening day, four games, its results resulted in its victory over the Croatia team (14-8), and followed it with a great victory over the Kenya team (19-8), and then against Britain by (16-10), before receiving his only loss against the Egyptian team that came with difficulty and one point (11-12).

This direct qualification represents an additional achievement for the national team, and gives it technical and physical preference before entering the decisive stage, as the winner is waiting for Austria to face one of the teams qualified for the third place in the second group.

During its four matches, the national team showed great harmony, and a high combat spirit, along with the tactical focus, which gave him his achievement by direct qualification for the quarter -finals.

The national team is headed by Ismail Al -Marazik, and it includes the technical staff led by coach Aba Aqakujki, his assistant Tariq Aliasi, the players Muhammad Hashil Al -Habsi, Jassim Murad Ramadan, Mansour Al -Naqbi, and Muhammad Al -Hamid Al -Hashemi.
