"Taekwondo" Participates in 3 international competitions during October and November
Fujairah, August 5/ WAM/ The Emirates Taekwondo Federation announced the approval of the participation of national teams in the Asian Youth Games “Bahrain 2025”, the World Men’s Championship in China, next October, and the Islamic Solidarity Games, in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, in November 2025.
Abdullah Al -Samahi, the Secretary -General of the Federation, said that there is coordination between the federation and the clubs in preparing the elements of the national team, to ensure that the highest indicators of physical and technical readiness are reached, within the framework of joint cooperation between the sports work system, within the Federation’s development strategy.
He explained that qualifiers will be made to choose the distinctive elements and weights, under the supervision of the competent technical bodies, before the date of the prescribed championships, indicating that the coming period before the start of the new season will witness the establishment of development and rehabilitation courses for referees and coaches, within the Union’s plan to upgrade the game, and to enhance the level of its global competitiveness.
