“Dubai Dubai” highlights the creations of 7 Emirati artists in November

Dubai, August 10 / WAM / The city of Expo Dubai and the Culture and Arts Authority in Dubai announced a strategic partnership to present the second session of the “Dubai Dubai” art exhibition that takes place between 12 and 18 November in Al -Wasl Square in Expo Dubai to be the first Emirati optical art exhibition and celebrates the exhibition with light, heritage and creativity by re -creating the concept of optical arts in a manner that combines authentic heritage and art Contemporary.
The exhibition presents a platform for Emirati artists to review innovative works that inspire local heritage and gives the public an opportunity to interact with new visual experiences.
Seven artists representing three generations, Fatima Lootah, Muhammad Kazim, Khaled Al -Banna Al -Alaya bin Omair, Al -Zina Lootah, Ahmed Al -Arif Al -Dhahiri and Al -Kindi’s share, where each of them provides a light sculpture that carries an artistic and emotional dimension inspired by Emirati culture.
The exhibition program includes a series of technical dialogues and seminars in the arts house the latest cultural destination in the city of Expo Dubai for creative expression, which will bring together artists from various Gulf countries through programs and initiatives to support Gulf art and will be announced next October.
Shaima Rashid Al -Suwaidi, Executive Director of the Arts, Design and Literature Sector in Dubai Culture, stressed the authority’s keenness to support initiatives that enrich the local creative scene, noting that the exhibition reflects the depth of partnership with the city of Expo Dubai and contributes to enhancing the strength of cultural tourism and supporting creative industries.
Amna Sphinx, the artistic curator of the exhibition, said that the event represents the meeting of the past in the future and embodies the spirit of Dubai in light and culture and confirms the commitment of the two institutions to enable Emirati artists to present their creativity to an international audience specializing in arts.
