"Dubai Roads" It launches a smart traffic monitoring platform
Dubai, August 11, 2025 / WAM / The Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai launched a smart digital platform called “Data Drive – Clear Guide” to study and analyze historical and immediate traffic in the streets of the emirate, including data from the past five years, with the aim of supporting decision -making and improving the flow of road movement.
The authority explained that the platform provides advanced analyzes of the elements associated with traffic, such as speeds, flow times, congestion points, and faults sites, as well as sending immediate messages and notifications to the concerned authorities, which contributes to accelerating the response and setting solutions.
She added that the platform depends on historical and prohibited data from specialized international companies, which is analyzed using smart tools to provide an accurate image of the traffic situation, which reduces the time of collecting and analyzing data from several weeks to minutes, compared to previous manual mechanisms.
She pointed out that the platform allows monitoring the performance of traffic transfers and events in a manner, and preparing mechanical reports to evaluate projects before and after implementation, in addition to displaying the state of roads through an interactive map according to indicators such as average speed, traffic density, and the time of the trip, in order to enhance the efficiency of traffic management in the emirate.
