The Emirati firefighting team begins its duties to extinguish the Albania forest fires
Tirana, August 12 / WAM / in implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State “may God protect him”, to support the efforts to extinguish forest fires in the Republic of Albania, the team specialized in putting out fires today began its mission in Albania in the affected areas to contribute to extinguishing fires.
The competent team arrived in Albania yesterday with human cadres qualifying for such operations, planes, equipment and firefighting materials necessary.
The vertical aircraft carried out a number of sorties to the areas of Petrilla and Gramsci in addition to other fires, and participated in the firefighting process, the UAE cadres supported by advanced and modern equipment despite the challenges and climatic conditions.
A number of dairy officials participating in the process praised the role of the UAE in the process of extinguishing the fires and its speed, which reflects the depth of relations between the two countries and the positive role of the participating team.
