Wholesale prices in Japan increased by 0.2 % during July

Tokyo on August 13/ WAM/ The prices of “wholesale” producers in Japan during the month of July increased by 0.2% per month, according to the data of the Central Bank of Japan issued today, Wednesday.
This reading came in line with expectations, after the price decreased in the previous month by 0.1% according to the modified data, by 0.2% according to the initial data.
On an annual basis, wholesale prices increased by 2.6% during July 2025, while analysts expected to increase by 2.5% after increasing 2.9% during the previous month.
Japanese export prices increased by 0.3% per month, and decreased by 1.1% annually, while import prices increased by 1.1% per month, by 5.1% annually.
