“Saudi Scouts” develops the talents of young people in a workshop on the arts of short story
The Secretariat of the Association (a href = was organized" target ="_Blank"> The Saudi Arab Scouts , a specialized workshop entitled “The Art of Writing the Set Set Stories”, through visual communication, in which 70 of the boys and youth participated from the mobile and the advanced scouts, from the talented and interested in the field of writing The short story, with the aim of developing their creative skills, refining their capabilities to reduce ideas, intensify information, taste the aesthetics of literary narration.
The workshop was presented by the Director of Projects and Private Initiatives, and the former director of communication management in the Arab Scout Region, Ahmed Hassan, during which he discussed multiple axes that included the definition of the short story, its basic elements, its types, and its literary role, in addition to the mechanisms of building the idea and planning, and the techniques of generating creative ideas, and ways to develop the plot through interconnected and integrated events.

The workshop also touched on the methods of building characters and dialogue, the importance of understanding the dimensions of psychological personalities and their interaction in the development of the story, and the role of dialogue in promoting the dramatic plot, while reviewing the techniques of narration and description, methods of escalating events, and choosing vocabulary that enhance the feeling and feelings in the text."Text-Align: Jusify">
