Sharjah Electricity launches the developed version of the virtual assistant "Fabrication"

Sharjah on August 14/ WAM/ The Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority announced the launch of the developed version of the virtual assistant “Nafaa”, as part of its strategy to enhance digital transformation and improve the experience of customers.
Dr. Hussein Al -Askar, Director of the Service Service Department, explained that “Nafaa” allows the implementation of about 90% of the services of the subscriber administrators digitally, through more than 40 main services, many of which are completely implemented automatically, which enhances the efficiency of the service and raises the level of customer satisfaction.
Nafaa depends on artificial intelligence techniques, machine learning and robotic automation (RPA), to provide services such as inquiries about bills, payment, opening or closing accounts, submitting and tracking requests, and dealing with emergency reports around the clock and anywhere.
He pointed out that the development of “Nafaa” contributed to the authority’s obtaining several international and regional awards, the most prominent of which is the award for the best digital transformation in the Govinsider Festival for Government Innovation in Singapore, and the Excellence Award in the service of dealers at the level of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
For his part, Khaled Dhiab, a consultant to the Service Service Department, explained that the integration of “Nafaa” with the regulations of the internal authority contributed to the automation of many operations and the reduction of the time of its completion, as it is possible to carry out the service of installments in the bills in just 60 seconds.
He stressed that “Nafaa” represents an innovative model in providing smart services and reflects the authority’s orientation towards digital excellence at the level of the state and the region.
