Mohammed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence receives 403 students in the new academic year

Abu Dhabi, August 16 / WAM / Mohammed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence launched a historical academic year with the reception of 403 new students, including students of the first batch within the Bachelor’s program in artificial intelligence, as well as new batches of students in current programs including computer science, computer vision, machine learning, natural language processing, robots, in addition to the first batch within the program of the program Master in Statistics, Data Science and Master’s Program in Applied Applied Intelligence.
The university for the current semester has received more than 8000 requests to enroll in bachelor’s and graduate programs, while the admission rate was only 5%, which reflects the prestigious status of the university and its ability to attract the best talents from the UAE and various parts of the world.

He added that the world is witnessing accelerated transformations due to artificial intelligence, and these opportunities can only be used through a qualitative education that keeps pace with the future and provides future generations with the necessary tools, and despite the modernity of our covenant, we have proven our presence among the top 10 international universities in the field of artificial intelligence through our research programs and graduate studies.
He said, “Today, with the launch of the undergraduate and master’s programs in applied artificial intelligence, we consolidate our commitment to providing advanced education that keeps pace with the Emirates National AI Strategy 2031 and supports the prosperous Abu Dhabi system in this vital sector.”
He stressed that the future functions are formed today by artificial intelligence, pointing to the university’s commitment to providing its students with the skills and tools that enable them to lead this transformation, as he explained that the Bachelor’s program is a new global standard in terms of technical depth, linking with the labor market and the readiness of graduates for advanced jobs.
The Bachelor of Science program in artificial intelligence, which was recently launched by the university, provides two distinguished tracks: the course of business and the engineering path.
Among the most prominent features of the fall of Fall 2025 is the high number of university students to 700 male and female students from more than 47 nationalities, and the nationalities of the Bachelor’s program include students from the Emirates, Bulgaria, China, Egypt, Georgia, Greece, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan and the United Kingdom, while postgraduate programs attract students from Canada, China, Egypt, France, France, and France. India, Italy, Kazakhstan, Serbia, the United Kingdom, the United States and Vietnam.
151 new graduate students represent about 27.5% of the 100 best graduates of computer science globally, according to the CSRANKINGS classification, including the University of Cornell, the University of Tsinghua, the University of Edinburgh, and the University of California in San Diego.
The university organizes the introductory week for students to introduce them to the university’s culture based on academic excellence, innovation and community participation, and the program includes academic sessions, guidance activities, and cultural activities that celebrate the heritage of the Emirates and life in Abu Dhabi, in addition to the “microcredit exhibition”, in which within the participation of internal and external partners to review the resources supporting academic success, professional development and student life.
The introductory week aims to enhance the spirit of belonging and communication, and lay the foundation for a distinguished university experience that contributes to building the future of academic and vocational students.
