The expected minimum temperatures in the new expansion areas of “Al-Qassim, northern Riyadh, and Al-Sharqiya” range between 4 degrees Celsius and 1 degree Celsius, which requires preparing for cold winter weather at night and in the early morning.
In parallel with the cold wave, the center monitored activity in surface winds stirring dust and dust, beginning on Tuesday, focusing on the Al-Jawf and northern border regions, which may limit visibility on the roads.
The dust storms extend and intensify. Its frequency is from Tuesday evening and throughout Wednesday to cover a wide geographical area that includes the regions of Hail, Al-Qassim, Riyadh, and Al-Sharqiya, all the way to the Najran region in the south.
The active winds continue to creep in on Wednesday and Thursday, affecting the eastern parts of the Asir and Al-Baha regions, and its impact extends to include the regions of Makkah Al-Mukarramah and Medina, including their coastal parts, which imposes a state of air instability.
The National Center warned Meteorologists urge citizens and residents in all affected areas to follow real-time weather updates and adhere to safety instructions while driving or being in open spaces, given the rapid fluctuations in the weather.
