" International Government Communication" In Sharjah, it is released "Global public relations challenge"

Sharjah, August 17 / WAM / The Media Office of the Sharjah Government announced the launch of the “Global Public Relations Challenge – Sharjah version”, as part of the pre -emptive activities of the Fourteenth International Government Communication Forum, which will be held on September 10 and 11, at the Sharjah Expo Center, under the slogan “Communication for the Quality of Life”.

The challenge that is held for the first time in the Emirate of Sharjah is one of the most important innovative initiatives in the field of communication, as it attracts 20 students from inside and outside the country to form 10 teams competing for the Sharjah Government Communication Award, and the winning team gets a financial reward and an opportunity to implement its idea on the ground.

The Media Office of the Sharjah Government is organizing this challenge in partnership with the International Communication Consulting Organization (ICO), in cooperation with the American University in Sharjah and the “Sharjah ID” campaign, as well as organizing a number of other events, including “Universities Challenge” in cooperation with the United Arab Emirates University and the Sharjah Government Communication Award, and “Challenge of Artificial Intelligence Skills” in cooperation with the Center for a quarter of a century for science And technology.

The challenge aims to stimulate creativity and innovation in providing sustainable communication solutions inspired by the “Sharjah ID” campaign, in order to address social, economic, environmental and educational issues that contribute to enhancing the quality of life, within a competitive environment supervised by a group of experts and arbitrators from the organizers and partner.

Within the framework of pre -emptive activities, the Center for a quarter of a century for science and technology is organizing “challenging the skills of artificial intelligence”, which is directed to adolescents from the age of 10 to 16, with the participation of about 45 students, where the participants work to develop smart solutions to contemporary issues such as food security, quality of life, and sustainability, within an interactive educational program that includes learning, thinking, implementation and presentation.

The challenge is supervised by 12 experts in multiple fields that include artificial intelligence, programming, agriculture and food, robots, 3D printing, modeling, as well as soft technical skills.

The fourth edition of the “Universities Challenge” also begins, in cooperation between the Emirates University and the Sharjah Government Communication Award, with the participation of 12 teams from local and international universities, competing to provide innovative communication solutions on “the importance of food security in achieving community sustainability.”

The challenge aims to enable students to translate their ideas into communication initiatives and policies that keep pace with societal challenges, support stability and enhance public awareness.

The forum is a specialized cognitive platform that brings together decision makers, experts, thinkers, academics and youth, to exchange best practices in the field of government communication, and enhances Sharjah’s position as a global destination for media innovation and constructive dialogue on development issues at the regional and international levels.
