Launching the Emirates International Endurance Village race series in more than 10 countries
Paris, June 19 / WAM / The Emirates International Endurance Village in Al Wathba launched the “Emirates International Endurance Village Race Series” initiative, which includes races in more than 10 countries around the world, and will last 6 months from June to December 2026.
The organizing committee announced the launch of the first events of the series today (Friday) in the French city of Compiègne, which hosts the first races of the initiative within the international endurance event held from June 19 to 21, with France forming the beginning of the global program for the series.
The initiative comes as an extension of the vision of the wise leadership aimed at supporting endurance sports and the horse sector, and consolidating the UAE’s position as a leading global center in this field, in addition to highlighting the role played by the Emirates Global Endurance Village in supporting endurance racing and developing it locally and internationally.
The initiative extends over a period of 6 months, and its races will continue in 2026 in more than 10 countries, including France, Portugal, Argentina, South Africa, Namibia, Chile, Romania, Slovakia, Uruguay, Spain, and Greece.
During the international races, the village delegation is accompanied by a number of partners and sponsors, to provide interactive activities for the racing audience and introduce their products and services.
Muslim Al Ameri, Director General of the Emirates International Endurance Village, appreciated the support and patronage of His Highness’ wise leadership for the village and for endurance sports in the UAE and the world, stressing that this support contributes to the development of the village and enhances its vital role in improving endurance racing globally.
Al Ameri said: “The World Endurance Racing Series initiative comes within the village’s efforts to enhance cooperation with national federations and organizing bodies in the host countries, and to develop partnership and coordination with the International Equestrian Federation, which contributes to supporting and developing the endurance sport system in various racing fields.”
He added that the Emirates International Endurance Village is working according to a strategy that aims to enhance its presence in international forums, by launching specific initiatives that support endurance sports and expand its reach, indicating that the village team will work in coordination with the organizing bodies and sponsorship companies to provide the necessary support for the races, and implement the accompanying interactive and promotional programs and activities in the host countries.
Al-Amiri stressed that the initiative reflects the village’s aspiration to provide a global model for supporting and organizing endurance races, and to contribute to raising the status of this sport and enhancing its spread throughout the world.
