Türkiye continues to extinguish forest fires

Yesterday, the Turkish authorities postponed 251 residents of the Gleberly Peninsula overlooking the Strait of the “Dardanelles” in western Turkey, at a time when attempts to put out the forest fires continue, while the authorities say that the risk of fire outbreaks will remain high until October. The fire broke out in the northwest of the Chanakkali Governorate, the day before yesterday, and spread quickly to the hills adjacent to Jalibouli, due to the wind speed. “251 residents of five villages were evacuated as a precautionary measure”, confirming that they were transferred to “safe areas.” The Strait of “Dardanel”, which connects the Aegean and Samra Navy, is a well -known tourist destination, as it includes the effects of the city of Troy.
