Archive and the National Library are known as the culture of Emirati society

Abu Dhabi, August 18/ WAM/ Archives and the National Library at its headquarters, the annual forum for training Arab and foreign teachers, with the aim of introducing them to authentic customs and traditions in Emirati society, details of the culture of society, the importance of spreading national values and principles, and consolidating the national identity of students.
The forum program, which lasted for three days and participated in about 200 teachers, included a national cultural lecture by Mahra Al -Ahbabi, from the archive and the national library, in which it shed light on the culture of Emirati society, the importance of spreading the values of tolerance and coexistence, and working on sustainable development, in conjunction with the year of society 2025.
She pointed out that the founder and the builder Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, “may God rest his soul,” said about the councils that they are schools, explaining that the council with the children of the Emirati society is a cultural destination that confirms its role in producing and sustaining culture, while it touched on the group of authentic Emirati customs and traditions in hospitality, and talked about social occasions, popular celebrations, and about Emirati fashion for men and women.
She explained the importance of heritage sports and preserving them in the country with the aim of preserving the cultural and popular heritage, the most prominent of which are camel races, horse races, hawks, marine sports, and others.
While the participants continued a documentary film on “The Emirates through the Ages”, then they toured the archive facilities and the National Library.
