An upcoming investigation session with Badria Tolba .. Possible penalties of up to a year

A source from within the union revealed that the Board of Directors proposed the use of a judicial consultant from the State Council to take over the investigation instead of being satisfied with legal affairs officials within the union, in order to ensure full transparency and not to raise any doubt about the procedures.

The source pointed out that the expected punishment against Badria students may reach the suspension of acting for a period ranging between 6 months and a full year, in addition to the possibility of fining it financially in the event of its conviction. The source denied the news circulating about its permanently preventing it from acting or removing its membership from the union, stressing that the incident does not require such a procedure.

Ashraf Zaki, the captain of the acting professions, had issued an urgent decision to refer the artist Badria Tolba to investigate after circulating clips of her as she uses inappropriate words towards followers during a live broadcast. An official statement issued by the union confirmed that the council made the decision unanimously its members, stressing the union’s commitment to holding any artist to be held out of the moral honor charter.

For her part, Badria denied the students of her involvement in criminal cases or suspicions related to the trade of human organs, stressing that what is raised against her is “organized campaigns to discredit her.” She said during a live broadcast on “Facebook”: “They published rumors that I killed my late husband and sold his members! I am in front of you in my house, and I will sue everyone who offended me.”
