Launching the first batch of "Social missions for youth" To participate in "Al -Faris Al -Shahh 3"

Al -Arish on August 19 / WAM / The Federal Youth Foundation announced the launch of the first batch of participants in the “Social Scholarships Program for Youth” within the “Humanitarian” path, to participate in the “Al -Faris 3” operation, in the city of Al -Arish, in the Arab Republic of Egypt, in the framework of the continuous support of the Emirates for Palestinian brothers.

The approval of the first batch of the program came in the presence and participation of His Excellency Dr. Sultan bin Saif Al -Neyadi, Minister of State for Youth Affairs, and in conjunction with the International Day of Humanitarian Action, where His Excellency met with the youth participants in the field, praising their high spirit and their willingness to contribute to the field humanitarian efforts that represent the state in one of the regions of the world in need of support and relief.
In a statement to him from the city of Al -Arish, His Excellency Sultan Al -Neyadi said: “The UAE believes that humanitarian action is implanted in the conscience of young generations, which is embodied by the vision of the wise leadership in empowering young people to be ambassadors for giving and global peace, and through qualitative programs such as the“ Social Scholarships for Youth ”initiative, we seek to qualify Emirati cadres capable of representing the values of the authentic state, and providing support to societies around the world, according to a sustainable approach, according to a sustainable approach. For his part, Rashid Ghanem Al Shamsi, Director of Empowerment Department at the Federal Youth Corporation, said that the launch of the first batch of the ‘Social Scholarships Program for Youth’ comes as an embodiment of continuous efforts in building an integrated system concerned with empowering young people in the humanitarian, development, and cultural fields, through real practical tools and field experiences, allowing young people to develop their experiences to contribute to the actual contribution in many areas that achieve The positive effect and prosperity in societies around the world.

He added that the participation of the Emirati youth in the “Al -Faris 3” process represents a pivotal station in their enabling process for relief work at the international level, to engage in field tasks that include the preparation of relief shipments, mobilization and distribution of food, medical and water, as well as support logistical teams, and follow -up of supplies within the “UAE Life Person” line to deliver water to about 600 thousand Palestinians from the Gaza Strip residents, and this experience represents A real opportunity to get to know the challenges of humanitarian work closely, and the effective contribution to alleviating the suffering of the needy in the crisis areas.

The participation of the first batch of the program includes a set of field tasks that include the distribution of food and medical assistance, the provision of psychological and social support, and the contribution to direct relief efforts in coordination with the official authorities working within the humanitarian process in the Gaza Strip, as this event comes in the context of developing the skills of Emirati youth, enhancing their awareness of global issues, increasing humanitarian needs, as well as opening the prospects for participation in international initiatives that contribute to achieving Sustainable development goals and enhance the UAE’s position as a leading country in humanitarian work.

It is noteworthy that the “Social Scholarships for Youth” program is one of the qualitative national initiatives launched by the Federal Youth Foundation, within the axis of “society and values” that emanate from the national youth agenda 2031, and aims to qualify Emirati youth to participate in humanitarian, developmental and cultural missions, in order to enhance the state’s global presence and qualify a new generation of humanitarian ambassadors.
