Inclusion of the Dar Al -Ittihad building within the “ALCO” record of the Arab architectural and urban heritage

In a new national achievement that immortalizes the memory of the homeland, the building of Dar Al -Ittihad in Dubai was included in the ALCO record of the Arab architectural and urban heritage, to be a living witness to the moment the United Arab Emirates Federation announced in 1971, and an authentic pillar of the Emirati identity.
This historical inclusion places the House of Al -Ittihad at the forefront of a list of 19 Arab sites, and confirms Dubai’s position as a city that exceeds the limits of time, embraces the past, adopts the present and inspires the future.
This achievement comes as a result of the efforts of the Ministry of Culture and the UAE National Committee for Education, Culture and Science, in the context of its tireless endeavor to preserve the national heritage and preserve it for future generations.
