Continuous relief bridge/ Emirates embodies the values of the International Day of Humanitarian Action through its continuous support to Gaza

Gaza on August 20/ WAM/ on the International Day of Humanitarian Action, the UAE affirms its firm commitment to the approach of humanitarian giving that was established by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, “may God rest his soul”, where he continued through the “Al -Shahham 3” process to provide support to the residents of the Gaza Strip, and provide them with the ingredients of life in light of the harsh conditions they live.

From the first moments of the war on Gaza, the UAE formed a continuous human bridge by land, sea and air, to deliver various aid, such as food and medicine, and the initiatives of operating bakeries and tunnels on which thousands of families depend on, as well as implementing various relief initiatives to alleviate the famine suffered by the residents of Gaza, as well as supporting children and providing their basic needs.

The Emirati giving was not limited to food and medicine, but also included providing medical assistance to hospitals, international organizations and medical care institutions, in addition to the establishment of field hospitals in Rafah and Al -Arish, which works to provide the necessary treatment for patients and wounded and provide urgent care for them.

Support also extended to include the infrastructure, municipalities and water sectors, by implementing vital projects such as drilling wells and maintaining lines, and launching the “Life Persons” project, the Emirati water line, which aims to secure water sources for the displaced population, embodying the spirit of giving represented by the day of Zayed for humanitarian work.

Despite all the challenges and obstacles that hinder the introduction of aid to Gaza, the UAE has never stopped performing its humanitarian duty, but rather created alternative solutions to ensure the continuation of the relief process, as it resorted to buying foodstuffs from the local market to support families and operate the recipients on which thousands of displaced depends, in addition to launching the “good birds” process for the air projection, which reflected its insistence on overcoming difficulties and extending a hand Aid in the most difficult circumstances, stressing that its humanitarian message is fixed and does not know the decline.
