"The highest motherhood and childhood" It organizes reading sessions in Arabic within "Reading ambassadors"

Abu Dhabi, August 21/ WAM/ The Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, in cooperation with the Abu Dhabi for Children’s Library in the Cultural Complex in Abu Dhabi, organized reading sessions in the Arabic language, as part of the “Reading Ambassadors” event that aims to instill the love of reading for children and encourage them to develop their linguistic skills, which included a daily cultural program.
The sessions, which were witnessed by His Excellency Al -Reem Bint Abdullah Al -Falasi, Secretary -General of the Council, aim to encourage children, adolescents and members of society in general, to read in the Arabic language, stimulate their imagination, develop their creative skills, and instill the love of reading in their souls to become a daily habit in their lives.
The sessions come within the framework of the slogan of the Emirati Children’s Day, which started at the state level on March 15, and will continue throughout the year under the title “The Right to National Identity and Culture”, under the directives of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, “Mother of the Emirates”, President of the General Women’s Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, Supreme President of the Family Development Foundation.
The children who attended the sessions listened to reading the story of “Jeddah Hamdan’s Treasure” by Sheikha Rawda Bint Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, member of the Emirati Parliament for Children, “Ambassador of Reading for the year 2025”.
The activities of the program also included a reading of a book “In an inventive Life” by the writer Mazana Al -Mansouri, a reading of the book “Diaries of Hamid” presented by the writer Nouf Yasser, and another for the book “Ezbet Hamad” by the writer and painter Amer Al -Mahri presented by Khaled Al Hammadi, a member of the Emirati Parliament for the Child, and reading and discussions on the book “My Perspective” by the writer Sherina Al -Suwaidi and the student Amna Mansouri, the heroine of the reading challenge for the year 2024, “The student Mattara Ibrahim also participated in reading her story,” Diaries of Delhra, as well as analytical paragraphs about the books and stories that were read, and valuable competitions and prizes allocated to the advisors.
