The UAE continues its efforts to combat organized crime by handing over international wanted persons to France and Belgium

The Ministry of Interior handed over international wanted persons to both the French and Belgian authorities, after they were arrested by the Dubai Police General Command based on red bulletins issued against them by the Interpol International Criminal Police Organization.

One of them is one of the most wanted persons among the French authorities on charges of drug trafficking within an organized criminal network that is active in several European countries and was the role of the main assistant to the organization’s leader.

The other is considered one of the most wanted persons among the Belgian authorities on issues related to drug trafficking and its involvement with a criminal gang active inside Belgium

The Ministry of the Interior emphasized that these two operations reflect the UAE’s firm commitment to combating cross -border crime, and embodies its keenness on close international cooperation with various friendly and sister countries, in a way that contributes to consolidating the principles of justice and promoting security and stability at the regional and international levels.
