The Film Authority launches the first film criticism forums in Abha
Organized Film Authority in the village of Al -Muftah in Abha, activities "Film Criticism Forum"In the first series of gatherings that the authority intends to establish this year, to conclude its work with " International Film Cash Conference" to be held in Riyadh next November, as part of its strategy to enhance the Kingdom’s cultural identity and consolidate the status of cinematic criticism.
The general supervisor of the conference, Mashari Al -Khayyat, confirmed in his opening speech that the hosting of Abha for the forum embodies its cultural and artistic position as a partner in the meaning industry and a bridge between the film and the place. 10 thousand visitors and 42 speakers from 30 countries, which established the Kingdom’s website as a leading platform for international cinematic dialogue.
The dialogue sessions were launched by offering the relationship between cinema and architecture, reviewing examples designed by a number of Arabic films, and highlighted the pivotal role of the place and its components in formulating the realistic image of the film and delivering it directly to the viewer."Text-Align: Jusify"> The speakers also dealt with the importance of employing artificial intelligence techniques in producing documentary works for places that have ceased to exist most of their features, as a way to open new horizons for Saudi cinema to preserve visual memory and re -read geography with a camera lens.
