The conclusion of the first version of the Hunayd Al -Hamriyah competition
Sharjah, on August 25 / WAM / The first edition of the Hayyad Al -Hamriya fisherman, organized by the Hamriyah Cooperative Association for Fisheries, concluded yesterday with the participation of 20 young men from the Hamriyah area.
The closing ceremony, which was held at the association’s headquarters, witnessed the announcement of the winner of the competition of the fisherman Al -Hamriya, which was obtained by Obaid Rashid Al -Shamsi, while Hamad Rashid Al Shamsi won second place and Ibrahim Hareb Sultan Al -Muhairi ranked third.
Jamal Al Shamsi, head of the Hamriyah Cooperative Association for Fisheries, honored all the participants, the work team and the association’s partners who contributed to the success of this initiative, which achieved a wide resonance among the youth of the region.
Al -Shamsi appreciated the efforts of the trainers, the organizing committee and strategic partners, especially the Sharjah Fish Resources Authority, which constantly supports the association’s efforts and endeavors to enable the region’s youth and educate them about the importance of preserving the marine environment.
